Sugared Nuts

 1/2 c water

1 c sugar

zesty of one orange

1 T Grand Marnier

2 c. pecans or walnuts

Heat sugar and water to soft ball stage (234 degrees.)  Let cool 5 minutes, then add zest, Grand Marnier, and pecans or walnuts.  Spread on parchment paper to cool and break into pieces.
