Peanut Blossom Cookies
A Christmas classic---
1 3/4 c flour
48 candy kisses
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c shortening
1/2 peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
Blend shortening and sugars. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Mix dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Roll into walnut sized balls and roll in sugar. Bake un an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and top with a candy kiss.
