Bacon
This is how Grandma used to stretch her bacon and make it more substantial and filling for BLT sandwiches.
Dredge each slice of bacon in all purpose flour, shake off excess. Fry in skillet or bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, flipping bacon after 15 minutes. The resulting bacon will be crisp and have a crust. Bacon done this way does not shrink as much, resulting in more bacon on your sandwich, and less grease in the pan.
